• Filing Requirements:
A Power of Attorney on behalf of the Applicant notarized and legalized up to the Palestinian Consulate.
The name and address of the applicant.
A list of the goods/services to be claimed under the concerned class. Class heading could be claimed.
A soft copy of the mark
Search results need 2-4 working days to be issued.
• Time Frame:
The approximate time frame for completing the registration process for a mark registration is 18-24 months.
• Notes:
Service marks may be registered according to the 8Th edition of the Nice Classification.
• Requirements:
A Power of Attorney on behalf of the Applicant notarized and legalized up to the Palestinian Consulate.
Copy of the final registration certificate or last renewal certificate.
• Notes:
The validity of the trademark registration in West Bank is Seven years as from the filing date. Thereafter, a trademark registration is renewable for further consecutive periods of fourteen years each.
The renewal fees of a trademark registration can be paid during the last 12 months of the current protection period. There is one month grace period within which a late renewal application can be filed, but such a late renewal application is subject to the payment of additional fees.

Filing assignment application of a pending application is possible as per the practice of the Trademark Office in West Bank. However, please note that once the assignment application is filed the same is kept in the file of the mark and is effected only after the elapse of the opposition period of the mark and registration certificate is issued.
